Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation “Ukrainian Herniological Days”.
The conference will be held on October 2-3, 2025.
Conference venue: Lviv, 8 Listopadovoho Chyn St., Bankhotel.

The conference program, in addition to reports, includes lectures by leading Ukrainian and foreign specialists on the following issues:

✓ Surgical anatomy of the anterior abdominal wall;

✓ Trends in the surgical treatment of patients with inguinal hernias in terms of the recommendations of the European Hernia Society;

✓ Current guidelines in the treatment of large cicatricial ventral hernias;

✓ Unresolved problems of surgical treatment of patients with umbilical hernias;

✓ A comprehensive approach to patients with anterior abdominal hernias for the purpose of accelerated recovery after surgery (principles of prehabilitation).

 

During the conference “Ukrainian Herniological Days” a master class will be held with practical skills training “Anterior abdominal wall closure technique”. Conference participants will be able to participate for two days. During the theoretical part, participants will get acquainted with the small bite technique for closing the abdominal cavity. Then, under the guidance of trainers, they will independently perform individual stages of abdominal closure. Participation is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Surgeons and anesthesiologists from all regions of Ukraine are invited to participate. The conference is registered with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, all participants will receive a certificate for 10 BPR points.

The deadline for submission is September 5, 2025.
